Summer School Options

 Rainier School District

• Rainier offers two online options:
  • BYU Independent Study
    • Students must be registered by May 31st.
    • Cost ranges from $50.00-$240.00 per half credit depending on the courses.
    • Students register through the RHS Counseling Center.
  • APEX
    • Course offerings are limited.
    • Students register through the RHS Counseling Center.  
• Coursework must be completed, including the final exam, during the RHS graduation year to guarantee that the course and grade will be posted to the RHS transcript in time to qualify for graduation ceremonies and activities (May 31^st deadline).

• New market offers vocational classes in the summer.
• Students can earn .5 CTE/elective credit.
• Register online at newmarketskills.com starting April 14th.
• Most courses are Free, others have a fee of $35-$50 per session.
• June 26-July 19 from 7:45 am to 2:45 pm every day except the last day is a half day (no school July 3 & 4).
