SAT/PSAT/ASVAB/ACT Testing

SAT FAQ

The SAT is offered twice per Year at RHS, and regularly at other schools in the surrounding area including Olympia High School, Timberline High School, Tumwater High School, and Bethel High School. Students can register for any SAT that fits their schedule. Students can register at collegeboard.org
 
We recommend College Bound students and those students who are undecided to plan to take the SAT once at the end of their Junior Year, and during the late summer or early fall of their Senior Year.
 
Rainier High School will offer the SAT typically during October and May. Information about dates can be found below.
 

SAT Registration and Dates

RHS will host the SAT during school on Thursday, October 26th.  We will be hosting another School Day session in Spring 2024.

You will register for the school-day exams through the counseling center.

 

PSAT/NMSQT

Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test - Tuesday, October 10th.

You will register for the PSAT through the counseling center.

 

SAT Prep

Online books to help prepare for taking the SAT.  We also have student guides with test taking tips at the counseling center

 

ASVAB

The ASVAB measures strengths and potential for future success. You don't "pass" or "fail". The results represent how well you have developed your skills in addition to your potential for training. It is required for entrance into the military.

Please register through the counseling center.

 

ACT Registration & Dates

RHS does not host the ACT.  You can register for the ACT online.
